SAT-U-82,000 is a two component, medium to low viscosity 3000 cps, 100% solid polyurethane system specifically designed to encapsulate transformers and other electrical components. It has low shrinkage, a low exotherm with a good flexibility and a good thermal shock resistance which conform to UL-94 VO certification.
This two component epoxy system has a fast gel time, low viscosity, and is solvent-free, flame retardant and cures at room or elevated temperatures. The thermosetting product has low shrinkage, flexibility, and toughened properties. This system offers excellent resistance to thermal cycling stresses, and is recommended as an electrical potting compound and for applications that include impregnating and encapsulating electrical devices.
